• Kitano Foundation Japan Gives Out Scholarships to Polines Students
    This is the fourth time that the company awarding scholarships to Polines Students. The ceremony was attended by the management of Kitano Foundation Japan and PT Indonesia Stanley Electric (ISE). Present on this event, Mr. Shinji Jo (Managing Director of the Kitano Foundation), Mr. Makoto Ogawa (President Director of PT ISE), Suwanto (Director of PT ISE) and Heroica Budi (Manager of HRD ISE).
  • Polines - JSVIAT China Establishes Cooperation
    Politeknik Negeri Semarang (Polines) continues to collaborate with various campuses abroad. This time the collaboration was established with the Jiangsu Vocational Institute of Architectural Technology (JSVIAT) of China. Marked by the signing of a memorandum of understanding between institutions by Ir. Supriyadi, MT (Polines Director) with Professor Sun Jin (JSVIAT Chairman) in the Director's Meeting Room, Polines Campus, Tembalang, Semarang, Wednesday (6/19). Also present at this event were the leaders of two institutions.
  • Polines Tops 4 Best Vocational Higher Education in 2019
    The Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education (Kemenristekdikti) of the Republic of Indonesia, again, announced the clustering of Indonesian higher education institutions in 2019 at Building D Kemenristekdikti, Senayan, Jakarta, recently. This clustering was carried out to map Indonesian higher education institutions under the auspices of the Ministry of Research, Technology, and Higher Education to improve the quality of higher education as well as to become the basis for Kemenristekdikti to provide policies according to the capacity of each of the higher education clusters.

    Politeknik Negeri Semarang Director (Polines) Supriyadi, received the 2019 Science and Technology award at the 24th National Technology Awakening Day (Harteknas) in Bali, Wednesday (28/8). The award, called the Widyapadhi Award, was received directly by the Director of Polines from the Minister of Research, Technology and Higher Education (Menristekdikti) Mohamad Nasir.

Politeknik Negeri Semarang (Polines) in collaboration with Management & Science University (MSU) Malaysia opened an international cooperation class. The study programs opened are Informatics Engineering and Marketing Management.

Vice Director of Planning and Cooperation, Drs Budi Prasetya, MSi said, in his office, Friday, (5/24) that this program would help high school and vocational school graduates reaching master degree (S2) in only 5 (five) years with additional international English skills.

"In the digital era and intense competition today many companies need reliable IT and Marketing personnel," he said.

He explained, through this program, high school and vocational school graduates can obtain a Masters degree (S2) within 5 (five) years. With the following details: 3 years of study at Diploma 3 (D3) in Polines to obtain an Associate Degree (A.Md.), then continue their Bachelor degree (S1) at MSU Malaysia for 1 (one) year, followed by Master degree (S2) at MSU Malaysia for another 1 (one) year.

The study program which available for this international cooperation classes between Polines and MSU  are the Diploma (D III) Diploma of Informatics Engineering and Marketing Management Study Program. After graduating from Diploma Three (D III) for Informatics Engineering Study Program, they can continue to Bachelor Degree (S1) at MSU Malaysia in Computer Science Study Program. Graduates of Diploma Three (D III) level in Marketing Management Study Program can continue to Bachelor level (S1) at MSU Malaysia by choosing between Retail Management Study Program or Bachelor in Entrepreneurship Study Program. After graduating from the Bachelor Degree (S1) at MSU Malaysia at the Computer Science Study Program, they can proceed to the Masters Level at the Malaysian MSU to choose the Master in Information Technology or the Master in Computer Science Study Program.

Whereas graduates of Bachelor degree (S1) at MSU Malaysia in Retail Management Study Program or Bachelor in Entrepreneurship Study Program can continue on Master in Retail Management Study Program or Master in Entrepreneurship Study Program according to their study program they take for their Bachelor degree.
