Tuesday, 30 April 2019, Politeknik Negeri Semarang successfully held an International Seminar titled "Joint / Double Degree Program between Indonesian and Taiwan Higher Educations". Located in the Seminar Room of the Magister Building Polines, the seminar was attended by representatives from other Polytechnics in Indonesia as well as the leaders of Departments and Study Programs in Polines.
As a form of commitment to improving the quality of scientific work, the Politeknik Negeri Semarang (Polines) always continues to encourage lecturers and students to publish scientific work in various seminars, conferences and scientific journals both nationaly and abroad.
Recently, a called Rajawali Sipondra, a specialist team in the balsa bridge competition from Politeknik Negeri Semarang (Polines) won the 2019 NTU bridge design competition, in Singapore.
Rajawali Sipondra is a team formed by Wirawan Logi Nurrohman and Yuan Herdianto in 2018 at the Balsa Brige Competition Civil Expo Polines Competition in 2018.
Polines has expanded its collaboration form by partnering with two universities from the Philippines. The first meeting of these universities happened on 18th October 2018 in Pangasinan University, Philippines. Polines, Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) and Mariano Marcos State University (MMSU) are taking part in the 3rd Batch SEA-TVET Internship Exchange Programme.
