    The Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education (Kemenristekdikti) of the Republic of Indonesia, again, announced the clustering of Indonesian higher education institutions in 2019 at Building D Kemenristekdikti, Senayan, Jakarta, recently. This clustering was carried out to map Indonesian higher education institutions under the auspices of the Ministry of Research, Technology, and Higher Education to improve the quality of higher education as well as to become the basis for Kemenristekdikti to provide policies according to the capacity of each of the higher education clusters.

    Politeknik Negeri Semarang Director (Polines) Supriyadi, received the 2019 Science and Technology award at the 24th National Technology Awakening Day (Harteknas) in Bali, Wednesday (28/8). The award, called the Widyapadhi Award, was received directly by the Director of Polines from the Minister of Research, Technology and Higher Education (Menristekdikti) Mohamad Nasir.

International Project Based Learning with the title "Theory and Practice of Conservation, Restoration and Sustainable Use of Ecosystems in a Rural Area" is the realization of the grants for Institutional Development of the International Office  (PKKUI) 2019 received by the consortium of Politeknik Negeri Semarang (POLINES) - Politeknik Negeri Jakarta (PNJ) – Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES) from the Directorate of Institutional Development, Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education.

Politeknik Negeri Semarang (Polines) delegation consisting of four students, Ayu Indrasari Saputri, Nurul Devi Ariyani, Salsabila Elingga H, and Tisa Maulika, participated in the 2019 International Student Leadership Camp program held by NKUST (National Kaohsiung University of Science and Technology) First Campus, Taiwan, on July 15-21, 2019.
